Meet the Council :)

Matthew Park | The Prez

“I came into college unsure of what I wanted my life to look like— I didn't know what to expect. However, through Koin I have been able to grow in my faith and find certainty in my identity as a Christian. Koin has become a large part of my life, and God has surrounded me with people who have shown me a glimpse of what His love for us looks like.”

“Coming to college I wanted to get away from my Christian identity, but as I kept growing away from God I became lost and blind to my sins. Thanks to the welcoming friends, mentors, bible studies, and messages I learned that my sins are forgiven and that God wants a relationship with me. Over the past 2 years, I have been able to understand God’s character and have been placed with so many wonderful opportunities to share the gospel with others.”

Allen Huang | Our Historian

“Coming to college, I was afraid I would lose faith in God with all sorts of temptations that I would be exposed to. But even a few months before college started, I got connected to one of the mentors from Koin, and through him I was able to meet so many people from Koin who want to follow Jesus and live out a Christian life. Through many retreats, messages, as well as mission trips, I was able to realize my brokenness on a deeper level and experience the unconditional love and forgiveness that God offers through His community.”
